CHARACTER STUFF
Name: Danny Fenton
Aliases: Danny Phantom
Canon: Danny Phantom
Role: Hero
Species: Half-Ghost
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Appearance: Here ya go
Origin story: Danny was 14 when his parents built an artificial portal to a dimension known as the Ghost Zone, an infinite realm that is entirely populated by spectral beings. When plugged in, the portal didn't appear to work. After some encouragement from his friends, Sam and Tucker, Danny put on a hazmat suit and walked into it, accidentally managing to activate it while inside. He was immediately doused in massive amounts of ectoplasmic energy, which bonded to his DNA, granting him ghostly powers and enabling him to transform into a more powerful ghostly form.
What followed was 2 years worth of fighting ghostly villains and normal ones with the help of Tucker and Sam, protecting his hometown of Amity Park, and attempting to keep his parents from finding out about his powers, out of fear of what their reaction would be. He also found out his parents old college friend Vlad Masters was the half-ghost villain known as Vlad Plasmius, who wanted to kill Danny's father, marry Danny's mother, and make Danny himself his son. Vlad himself subsequently manipulated a classmate of Danny's into becoming a ghost hunter with a specific hatred of Danny.
Amity Park, and Danny himself, were thrust into attention when the Ghost King and his army were freed from his imprisonment, and dragged the entire town into the Ghost Zone. Danny, with the timely assistance of some of his ghostly enemies, managed to defeat and re-imprison him, and return Amity Park to it's rightful place. Danny earned widespread fame in both dimensions, and unfortunately brought him to the attention of TRIDENT, who wanted to study his abilities and use him to create their own half-ghost. Early encounters with the group were limited to testing him, and Danny also spent his time encountering an evil version of himself from an alternate timeline, that, thanks to Danny's efforts and a ghost with the power to control time, has been removed from existence. He also met Frostbite in the Ghost Zone, and after his ice powers matured, went to the yeti-like ghost to learn control over his ice powers.
It was this that led to TRIDENT making an overt attempt at capturing him. While the agents responsible for the attempt were driven off, Sam and Tucker were harmed in the crossfire (though they both made a full recovery), and Danny's parents learned of his powers (And contrary to his fears, accepted him.)
In order to keep TRIDENT off him and his friends backs, and stop them from trying something like that again. Danny finally registered and accepted a place with the Trailblazers.
At the time he enters the game, he'll have been with them for two months.
Personality: Anyone catching Danny at a non-horrible time would swear he's a normal, if not exactly smart, teenager. He's got the same general worries that every other teenager has. Tests, how a long-term relationship is actually supposed to work, how to avoid his homework, trying to fit in, and can be generally impulsive. He tends towards being fairly friendly and easy-going, is kind of a gigantic dork who makes really terrible jokes and puns, and genuinely tries to be a fairly nice kid.
For all intents, and purposes, he's actually decent at being a good person. Better than some of his peers, at any rate. But he does have his negative, even dark sides. He can easily become frustrated and stressed, expressing himself sarcastically, and can even be downright mean and vindictive if pushed far enough. He has some major anger issues, brought to the fore by the pressure his current lifestyle puts him under, to the point that the only real reason he's never killed anyone is because most of his enemies are already dead. They tend to get worse when people screw with his family and friends. He's pretty good at not taking it his anger out on the people he cares about. He can be under-appreciative of his friends and family, though he's learned to appreciate them enough times that it's probably stuck by this point. He also has a tendency to develop Acquired Situational Narcissism, but usually comes back to himself before long.
Despite those traits, he's actually genuinely heroic. He routinely throws himself into situations to protect people, even those who hate him. He's even been able to work with his enemies, when the situation is dire enough. When he screws up, he gets back up and forces himself to do better next time. Even when taking into account his anger issues, and bouts of cynicism, he actually has a decent capacity to forgive people, provided they be actually apologetic for whatever they did. After some of the problems he's caused, it would be a little hypocritical to do otherwise, but that said, he's not infinitely forgiving. If someone apologized, and then went straight back to doing whatever it is they apologized for, it's very likely he'd never listen to them again.
Even though he can appear to be dumb at times, he's actually smarter than most people, including himself, give him credit for. He's not a supergenius, but he did inherit some of the Fenton intelligence. His low GPA is largely the result of never having time to study, with occasional focusing issues, as well as the fact that his intelligence isn't schoolwork-based. It generally manifests itself in his ability to lead and strategise. Given time to come up with a battle plan as opposed to being forced to improvise, as 90% of his battles end up being, he can come up with great, workable plans, and is notably capable of getting people who hate him to follow his lead. Though Vlad considers him to be an idiot, it must be noted that this is coming from a man who specializes in Xanatos Gambits, and still has been outsmarted more than once by Danny, making the insult ring just a little hollow.
Differences from canon: Not much, aside from the fact that he's no longer focused entirely on fighting evil ghosts, and some of those ghostly enemies were replaced by ones among the living. The timeline cuts off after Flirting With Disaster, meaning some of season 2 and most of season 3 didn't occur. However, parts of Infinite Realms (In which Danny first encountered the ghost Frostbite) and Urban Jungle (in which his ice powers finally started expressing themselves) did. Possibly in an entirely different way, depending on the decision of any potential Sam Manson players.
Also, Amity Park has been moved from a place somewhere near the Great Lakes to California.

So, hey, Danny Phantom here. Had the invite code for a while, but kind of avoided using it. Not such a good idea now that I think about it. If I'd actually talked to people on here back when TRIDENT started bugging me the whole thing might not have ended up turning into the massive near life-ruining crapstorm it did.
So, just saying hi in general, and since I'm working with the West Coast Trailblazers now, Heya to everyone in LA too
Yeah, basically the most awkward post in history here. Sorry, it's been a rough week.

Power level: A
Powers:
- Moderate superstrength- This can be augmented by using ectoplasmic energy, but as a side-effect he tires out quicker
- Mild superhuman durability- He's not invulnerable by any definition, but he's able to take hits that would seriously injure or kill a baseline human
- Superhuman stamina- While he has below-average stamina in human form, he can exert himself for hours in ghost form, thanks to his body not producing fatigue toxins.
- Superhuman agility
- Superhuman equilibrium
- Enhanced speed- Not what anyone would call superhuman, but he's capable of running faster in ghost form than he is in human.
- Flight
- Invisibility- Can turn himself and objects or people he's touching invisible to the naked eye.
- Intangibility- Follows the same rules as invisibility.
- Ectoplasmic energy manipulation - Can fire ectoplasmic rays, create ectoplasmic shields and ectoplasmic objects (Though this is a skill he has yet to master), create light, and even fire explosive blasts.
- Ghostly Wail - A large scale destructive sonic scream. Very few things can stand up to it, but it tends to leave him completely drained.
- Duplication- Occasionally managed for brief periods of time, but still not mastered.
- Ghost sense - Can sense ghosts. Part of his ice powers, it reveals itself as a blue mist coming out of his mouth, and tends to make him shiver.
- Wall-walking
- Overshadowing- Can possess people's bodies and control them, and still use his other powers while doing so. He can also leave them with post-hypnotic suggestions. Those with enough willpower can throw the possession off. He's also able to enter people's dreams through use of this power, and enter computers, taking over an avatar in a game.
- Healing factor
- Body manipulation- Can turn his legs into a ghostly tail, allowing him to fly faster. Also, can split his body along the midsection, create holes in it, stretch to a certain extent, and is superhumanly flexible. He can also transform from human form to ghost form
- Exorcism- Can force other ghosts out of people's bodies
- Telekinesis- Mild, only able to move small objects
- Cryokinesis- Can manipulate cold energy, freezing things by touch, or firing cryokinetic blasts. He can also create objects out of ice, with more permanence than the ones he'll eventually be able to create out of ectoplasmic energy.
- Doesn't need to breathe. While he has used space helmets in the show, that can easily be explained by the need to use an inbuilt radio in a vacuum.
- Non-powered skills- Basic martial abilities, basic sword skills.
